Dry needling is the process of targeting trigger points, or knotted muscle with thin needles to stimulate tissue. This stimulation can help decrease or even eliminate pain. Electrotherapy may be used in conjunction with with dry needling to further target and relieve pain.
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a technique that works like a typical massage, but instead of the usage of hands, the therapist will employ specialized instruments to allow for more direct manipulation of tissue.
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is an intervention used by therapists to provide pain relief through a low voltage electrical current. Electrodes are placed on the skin near or on nerves to deliver electrical impulses. Electrotherapy can decrease muscle spasms, improve electrical signaling through nerves, and increase the pain threshold.

Dry Cupping is the practice of placing specialized cups on specific areas of the body and vacuuming air out of the cup in order to create suction. The suction in the cup will draw the tissue up and swell, causing blood flow to increase to the targeted area. Dry cupping can reduce pain, increase bloodflow, and increase flexibility.
Kinesiology taping is a technique employing special tape in specific places to support your body while allowing for more mobility. KTape can improve proprioception, or the sense of where your body is in space, in order to facilitate better movement.
